The Chamont Calvary

Located at 681 meters high, the Chalmont pass is a crossing point between Freland and Ribeaugoutte. You can find the sandstone cross near from the crossroads where the main road pass different dirt tracks. Its round shape makes it unique in the whole canton.

Besides the cross the view is wide. Indeed you can see until the “Tête des Faux”, the “Grande-Roche”, the “Brézouard”, the hills of “Aubure”, the Kablin and also on the whole Freland valley.
