Fréland

  Welcome to Freland, a village in the heart of the mountain.  This endearing village  has settled in the Alsatian massif of the Vosges. It is especially  known to belong to the Welche country, one of the valley  from  the area with Romance tradition.

Through  the ages, the village put down roots in this country  made of mountains and of meadows surrounded by beautiful forests for the greatest happiness of its inhabitants and its visitors.

The peacefulness that occurs there did keep many inhabitants, craftworkers and farmers of mountain. These "earth lovers" acquired there expertise which  travelled down the time.

Today Freland expose to you its landscapes, its footpaths and its museums witnesses to an original culture, proper to the Welche Country.
